95.7 The GAME (KGMZ-FM), the Bay Area’s New Sound for Sports, announced today the addition of Portland radio personality Chad Doing. Chad joins 95.7 The GAME with over 13 years of experience in the sports radio format, most recently host of weekday afternoon drive show “Flight 750 with Chad Doing” on Sports Radio 750 The GAME in Portland, Oregon.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to bring Chad on to our team.” said Jason Barrett, Program Director at 95.7 The GAME. “When you listen to Chad host a talk show, you can’t help but notice his passion, honesty and high energy. He comes across as a genuine guy who truly loves sports but more importantly, you sense that he loves to connect with his audience. I’m looking forward to getting Chad settled in and utilizing his abilities to help grow our radio station in the future.”
“I am honored and excited to join the team at 95.7 The GAME in San Francisco.” said Chad. “It’s simple; radio was my one and only dream job ever since I was a young boy listening to AM radio with my father and now I have the chance to continue living that dream in the 4th largest market in the country. Bay Area sports fans are a passionate group and I look forward to sharing that passion with them in this next chapter in my radio career.”
“At Entercom San Francisco we are always looking for ways to advance our product and make our team stronger.” said Steve DiNardo, Entercom SF Market Manager. “The addition of Chad Doing does just that and I think Bay Area Sports fans are in for a real treat. We’re excited to welcome Chad to 95.7 The GAME and look forward to his contribution.”
In 2009, Chad co-hosted “The Morning Sports Page“, weekdays from 6am-9am PST on KXTG-FM 95.5 The Game in Portland with Dwight Jaynes. In 2011, Doing and KXTG moved to 750 AM where he transitioned to an afternoon drive role hosting “Flight 750 with Chad Doing” weekdays from 3-7pm PST.
Doing is expected to start with the radio station September 2nd and spend the first few weeks getting acclimated to his new surroundings and attending a number of local games and practices.
