Jacksonville’s Sports Radio 930 is now 930 The Game, rebranding as the city’s “Sports Leader” with a new lineup.
930 The Game will now carry Open Mike with Mike Bianchi, broadcasting from 6 to 9 am each weekday morning. The addition of Bianchi means listeners will have local programming during the morning and afternoon drive times to anchor the station’s lineup, which includes:
Open Mike with Mike Bianchi 6 – 9am
The Dan Patrick Show 9 am – Noon
The Herd with Colin Cowherd Noon – 3pm
Harp On Sports With Seth Harp 3 – 6pm
“Mike is a fantastic addition to our daily line-up,” said Seth Harp, Program Director and afternoon host for 930 The Game. “His show focuses on the topics and stories the people of northeast Florida want to hear. The people of Jacksonville deserve a great morning drive show and Mike will deliver that tenfold.”
A current columnist for the Orlando Sentinel, Bianchi also hosts 6-9am on 96.9 The Game in Orlando and will now have his show simulcast in Jacksonville. 96.9 The Game in Orlando and Bianchi’s new station, 930 The Game in Jacksonville are both owned by iHeartMedia. Bianchi is not a stranger to the Jacksonville market, prior to joining the Orlando Sentinel, the columnist and radio host worked for the Florida Times-Union, a daily newspaper in Jacksonville.
“I loved my years as a sports columnist at the Florida Times-Union and can’t wait to start talking sports again with Jacksonville Fans,” Bianchi said in the press release. “I’m announcing right now that I’m driving the Jagwagon all the way to Atlanta for Superbowl LIII.”
In addition to their new lineup, 930 The Game announced they will serve as the home for Florida Gator football, basketball and baseball among other college athletic events. The station will also partner with the NFL to broadcast regular season and playoff games as well as the Super Bowl.
