Retired WCCO TV sports anchor and frequent KFAN FM 100.3 on-air personality, Mark Rosen is partnering with Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins for a new weekly radio show.
Titled, Under Center with Kirk Cousins, Rosen and the Vikings star quarterback will record hour long episodes which will air on the Twin Cities’ sports leader, KFAN every Tuesday at 6pm, beginning September 3rd. The new show will feature current Vikings players, fan interaction and postgame sound.
In addition to Under Center with Kirk Cousins, Rosen is also launching SKOL Stories which will broadcast on KFAN, Thursday’s from 6:30 – 7pm, with its debut episode on September 5th. SKOL Stories will tell the stories of Vikings legends, featuring Rosen and co-host Mike Wobschall, who serves as the content manager for Vikings.com.
“I’m thrilled to partner with the Vikings to bring fans quality, behind-the-scenes stories and to be involved in the game day atmosphere at U.S. Bank Stadium,” said Rosen, who in addition to his new KFAN shows, will also provide a halftime update for the in-stadium crowd during Vikings home games.
Both Under Center with Kirk Cousins and SKOL Storieswill be available on-demand at Vikings.com, the Vikings app and all podcast platforms, along with being broadcast on KFAN weekly.
“The Vikings have a vision of generating content that can’t be found anywhere else, and I can’t wait to be a part of that. I’m very excited to sit down with Kirk Cousins each week during the season and welcome the fans into our conversations,” Rosen added.
In addition to the new Vikings related content, Rosen continues to regularly appear on KFAN’s The Power Trip Morning Show and The Common Man Program with Dan Cole. The Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame inductee spent 50 years as a sports anchor on WCCO TV before retiring from the position in January of this year.
