NFL Network has added another “Wolfe” to their collection of talent. Cameron Wolfe is trading his ESPN credentials for NFL Network as he joins (the unrelated) Colleen Wolfe and the rest of the team at the NFL’s media arm.
The network is tabbing Wolfe with a wider range of on-air opportunities than he logged while at ESPN. He’ll appear on their various shows like Good Morning Football, NFL Total Access, and NFL Now, while also writing stories for NFL.com. Wolfe has been based out of Miami since he started covering the Dolphins in 2018 and will remain there.
Wolfe has had quite the industry rise after graduating from The University of Houston with a broadcast journalism degree in 2015. He covered the Denver Broncos Super Bowl run for The Denver Post and then moved over to ESPN in 2017.
The reporter’s ESPN tenure involved coverage of the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins, along with some boxing assignments here or there. ESPN’s Ben Baby and Mike Rothstein have similarly moonlighted on boxing coverage during their tenures with the network.
Cameron Wolfe was introduced to the NFL Network audience during Wednesday’s Good Morning Football and had to make sure he beat his colleague Ian Rapoport to the news.
“Hey man, I gotta get one of these scoops,” Wolfe responded to Rapaport when he pointed out Wolfe beat him to it. He wasted no time getting into his analysis bag, transitioning to a breakdown of how Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is looking in training camp so far.
Cameron Wolfe is the man at Dolphins camp right now, but fans can expect him to report on a wide variety of stories across all 32 NFL teams. Wolfe’s meteoric rise continues as he punches another big-name ticket on his career arc.
