The Game Day announced they have created a new initiative called the Creator Program, which loops in digital influencers and content creators across multiple online platforms to strengthen the company’s digital engagement.
The program is aimed to bring in up-and-coming online talents while also strengthening The Game Day’s content portfolio in a symbiotic partnership.
The roster already includes two-time House of Highlights winner and influencer Jenna Bandy; YouTube sensations, Frank Michael Smith; and Sports Dissected. Along with sports animator, Rebound Rewind, and Dallas Cowboys super-fan, Law Nation Sports, among others.
“Based on the initial success that The Game Day is delivering for such advertisers and sponsors as DraftKings, BetFred, FanDuel, BetMGM, and others,” Steve Carey, Co-Founder, and COO of The Game Day said in a press release. “The Creator Program provides additional opportunities to engage with fans across a myriad of sports categories and audience interests.”
Content creators are paid monthly based on the size, engagement rate, and monthly growth of their respective channels. In exchange, The Game Day sponsors get presenting/segment sponsorships, custom integrations, product placements, promotions/sweepstakes, and more.
“We are true believers in the value of authentic, original user-generated content to reach and entertain the current and upcoming generations of sports fans, gamblers, and fantasy enthusiasts,” Carey said. “The Creator Program is a win-win for all parties involved — additional monetary opportunities and amplification for our member independent creators and increased engagement, reach, and awareness for brands and sponsors.”
Margaret McDonald is the driving force behind this project. The Game Day’s creative network director has worked with leagues like the NFL and PBR, along with major sports influencer Dude Perfect.
The program currently has 19 different online profiles attached to it so far from the various content creators listed above. To learn more about The Game Day Creator Network, click here.
