TuneIn just announced a major addition to their premium audio offerings. ESPN Radio is now available commercial-free to TuneIn premium subscribers.
TuneIn’s top customers will now get unimpeded access to their favorite ESPN Radio shows like Keyshawn, JWill, and Max, and Greeny. The company had been offering ESPN Radio programming on its platform before, but never commercial-free.
“Every day, millions of people around the world trust ESPN to provide them with the latest and greatest in sports coverage and commentary,” said Richard Stern, CEO of TuneIn.
The brand new feature falls in line with other commercial-free programming that TuneIn has implemented. MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News Radio are all currently available in a commercial-free format for premium subscribers, along with CNBC and Bloomberg. TuneIn began its premium service in 2015 and initially allowed those subscribers to record anything on the app but that has since been discontinued.
All of the ESPN Radio content is available live or on-demand on the TuneIn platform.
“Now more than ever,” Stern said. “TuneIn is committed to meeting our listeners’ demand for timely and uninterrupted sports talk. As longtime partners with ESPN, we are incredibly excited to bring ESPN Radio Commercial-Free to TuneIn Premium, and give our listeners, even more, sports to consume.”
TuneIn boasts 80 million active monthly users around the globe and exclusively offers commercial-free programming from various news networks. Listeners can hear sports, news, music, radio, and podcasts from all over the world on TuneIn.
Users can access TuneIn in 100-plus countries and on over 200 different devices. There are over 100,000 global radio stations available on the platform. The company has grown exponentially since Bill Moore founded it as RadioTime in Dallas 19 years ago.
