USC and UCLA’s Exit Complicates Future Pac-12 Media Deal
The Pac-12 is set to begin new media rights negotiations in the near future. Front Office Sports indicates the conference was hoping to increase its rights fees two-fold from its current price tag at $250 million per year, but USC and UCLA heading for the greener pastures of the Big Ten, which is currently in the midst of finishing a new rights deal, put a damper on that goal out west.
