For the second quarter of the fiscal year, Townsquare Media is reporting a net revenue of $121.9 million. That increase is 13.6% higher than the same quarter in 2021.
Meanwhile, the company had a net income of $4.9 million, which decreased from $5.2 million in the second quarter of 2021.
“I am proud to share that the Townsquare team delivered another quarter of strong revenue and profit growth, and in doing so, we achieved all-time record highs for both net revenue and Adjusted EBITDA”, CEO Bill Wilson said.
He also noted the company would be raising their fiscal year guidance after officially completing its purchase of Cherry Creek Broadcasting in June.
“As a Digital First Local Media Company focused principally on markets outside of the Top 50 in the United States, we have a resilient digital growth engine supported by subscription digital marketing solutions, with a large addressable market and limited competition. As we move forward, we expect double-digit digital net revenue growth to continue at strong margins, reaching our digital revenue target of at least $275 million in 2024.”
Wilson noted half of the company’s total revenue and profit comes from digital, and it will continue to be a meaningful part of Townsquare’s businesses.
Mark Levin: New York Times ‘Pathetic, Disgusting Joke’
“Maggie, would you look into Joe Biden? Paid and bought by the communist regime in China?”
While ending his radio show Tuesday night, Mark Levin had harsh criticism of The New York Times, especially for political reporter Maggie Haberman.
After saying President Joe Biden is “bought and paid for by the Chinese government” The Mark Levin Show host joked New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman wouldn’t look into the claims.
“Now that statement might get in trouble,” said Levin. “Maggie Haberman, would you look into this for me, please? Maggie, would you look into Joe Biden? Paid and bought by the communist regime in China? That’s a bold statement I made. I think you can do a little bit of digging. Should take you about 30 minutes. It’ll all pop up. You can do a whole article on it. But Maggie won’t do that. She’ll lose her grifter spot at the Constipated News Network. I believe that’s where she is, as well as The New York Times.”
Levin then went on to mock Haberman’s pride in working for The Times.
“Think about that. She’s so proud of herself. She works for a newspaper that defended Stalin. Whose correspondent in Berlin supported the Third Reich. And whose correspondent goes to the jungles of Cuba to build up Castro. All the lies. That’s the corporation she works for. She’s very proud of it,” Levin said in a mocking voice. “‘We gotta get Trump. He’s a dictator! We’ve never seen anything like this!’ Sure we have. Your newspaper is a pathetic, disgusting joke. And its latest anti-semite is exposed.”
Haberman, who caught the ire of Levin for releasing photos reportedly of Trump documents ripped and placed in a toilet, is the author of a new book entitled “Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America” which Levin has associated with a coordinated plan between the media and the FBI to denigrate the former President. When the story first came to light, Trump refute the claims of ripped up documents in the toilet as “totally fake“.
Jesse Kelly: Media Reported ‘Outright Lie’ About Donald Trump’s Passports
“The FBI — somebody at the FBI/DOJ — gets ahold of their media friends. ‘Let me send a quick text message. No we didn’t, he’s lying!’ Media immediately begins to run with the story.”
During his Tuesday edition of I’m Right with Jesse Kelly, Kelly said the media, in collusion with the FBI reported “outright lies” about whether or not the Bureau had taken former President Donald Trump’s passports during their raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence.
“They took Trump’s passports. Not only did they take Trump’s passports, the media ran with the story that they didn’t take Trump’s passports,” Kelly said. “But wait there’s more. We now have confirmation, courtesy of the release from Trump, that the FBI not only did take the Trump passports they are now giving him a place and a time to go pick up the passports saying ‘Whoopsie. It was a mistake’.
“But let’s focus on the media part here really quickly. Trump comes out and says ‘The FBI took my passports’. The FBI — somebody at the FBI/DOJ (Department of Justice) — gets ahold of their media friends. ‘Let me send a quick text message. No we didn’t, he’s lying!’ Media immediately begins to run with the story. Pushing an outright lie before any confirmation and then it turns out, once again, Trump was right all along.
The Jesse Kelly Show host then went on to say the FBI works other avenues to build a narrative based on falsehoods.
“You see, we have a system completely built on lies. And this is the problem. It’s way beyond the DOJ and FBI. The DOJ (and) FBI, they work with the media, they work with the entertainment system, they work with the politicians. Everyone works together to constantly push lies on you and me.”
Kelly previously said he “wouldn’t believe a single word” of what the FBI or media reported about the raid on Mar-a-Lago, noting he will probably believe any evidence found was planted or is being fabricated.
“That’s not me being a cynic. You can’t lie to me time and time and time and time and time again and then come to me and say ‘Hey, I have something. You gotta believe me’. That’s not how that works.”
KFI Host Reacts to NY Times Piece on Climate Change
John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou reacted to a climate change article in the NY Times which describes a mega storm that could last for a month.
The KFI Radio hosts described the article written by Raymond Zhong as an “odd story.”
“When I saw it on the front page of the actual printed paper, I was like we are being hit over the head with a drought,” said Chiampou. “Now you’re telling us that we’re going to drown?”
Zhong wrote that a storm of this magnitude could cause more economic damage than a massive earthquake.
Kobylt pointed out that the same report was published in the Los Angeles Times.
“They (media) really go for these frightening stories so they can continue pushing their global warming obsession,” he added.
The report states that the amount of rain predicted during this mega storm could test the levees, dams, and rivers in the state’s systems.
John and Ken suggested that the New York Times may have received federal grant money to research this report.
“From what I have read, if you’re doing climate research you aren’t allowed to research anything other than global warming, climate change disaster,” Kobylt said. “If you do any research that pushes back on what the cult says, then you are out of business.”
