WBAL is seeing some changes as weekday morning show host Kimberly Klacik has exited the radio station, announcing her exit on Twitter Friday.

Klacik took over the late morning/afternoon slot for WBAL in April from Yuripzy Morgan, who left the role for a run in politics. No further information on whether both parties opted to part ways or if it was indeed Klacik who wanted to start a new venture.

“I know many have asked, and I always appreciate the love & concern from all my friends on social media,” Klacik tweeted

“Just wanted to post an update: I truly thank WBAL from the bottom of my heart for the experience, but it’s time to move on. I’ll share my next steps with you soon!”

Before becoming the WBAL host from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Klacik was a regular on their airwaves at the station since she has also been a regular contributor to afternoon host Torrey Snow’s show.

On 11.4.22, Kim made an extremely offensive tweet concerning candidate Stacey Abrams. She even tagged Ms. Abrams on the tweet. After receiving quite a bit of backlash in the comments section, she doubled down on the tweet on both Twitter and Facebook. She hasn’t been heard since on the station and the tweet is still up. I truly believe that tweet has something to do with her show ending and if so, I don’t blame the station.

Good riddance! This hypocritical ex-stripper should have never been hired. She is a classless individual who is attempting to profit politically off of the unfortunate circumstances in the city. Does the city need help? Absolutely! That is not disputable. But she should have used her platform for something other than tearing down anyone with a (D) behind their name. Thank you WBAL for sending her back to her Republican hole and I’m not alone in hoping she rots away quietly.

I loved Klacik’s attempt to bring common sense over the airwaves in the lost city that is Baltimore. As someone who has only been in the region for not quite four years, I have already seen enough to understand why Baltimore is so hopeless and helpless. Klacik’s regular efforts to hold the same old Democratic leadership accountable is wasted on a local populace that is either simply too ignorant to stay informed on local issues, or simply too blinded by loyalty to candidates with a letter D on the ballots. Regardless of how much state and federal funding gets allocated for this city, Baltimore will never be a safe, thriving, attractive place to live and work in because of the inept status quo leadership that has destroyed it. I wish Klacik well in whatever her next endeavor is.

Mike, Seems to me you do not appreciate a point of view different from yours. She spent her time on the air stating the obvious failures especially in the City of Baltimore. The truth can be painful. Yet the insanity continues pretty much unabated and generations suffer because of it. Suppose your only solution would be to spend even more money thus continuing the corruption one party rules perpetuates.

SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern told “Morning Joe’s” Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist in an extensive interview that MSNBC is the network for him regarding cable news consumption.

Stern stated that he’s a major fan of “Morning Joe” and went the extra mile to say that he and co-host Joe Scarborough share the same political idealogy.

“I watch you guys every morning,” Stern said (h/t Mediaite). “I really enjoy the show. Oddly, I agree politically with almost everything Joe says. I don’t think there’s much difference there.”

The radio host thanked MSNBC for providing him with what he loves: 24/7 news. Additionally, Stern offered a shoutout to network host Symone Sanders and stated he’s no fan of Dateline repeats.

“By the way, I want to give a shoutout to MSNBC,” Stern added. “Thank God you don’t play the old Datelines anymore on the weekends. I like news. I watch this channel exclusively for news. I tune out on the weekend.

“It’s like all news stuff. I’m watching old Datelines. I like when you guys are onI like news 24/7, and now I find I’m getting it. I get Symone on the weekend. Big fan of hers. Symone coming on strong. What can I tell you? I know the whole lineup.”

Charges against John DePetro have been dismissed as the radio host faced a trespassing charge related to an incident over the summer during a Monday court hearing.

DePetro was arrested in mid-August outside a home on Staples Avenue in Warwick.

Police searched the house several months earlier as part of an investigation into the disappearance of Charlotte Lester, who has been missing for six months.

“I respect our justice system and respect law enforcement, specifically the Warwick PD,” DePetro said on Twitter. “The search for Charlotte Lester continues as I resume efforts searching for answers into her disappearance and holding Mark Perkins accountable for his actions against myself and Ladybug.”

The man who lives there, Mark Perkins, was also arrested the following day after he allegedly charged at DePetro with a lawnmower while DePetro was live-streaming.

Unlike DePetro, who had his charges dismissed, Perkins still faces an assault charge, according to court records.
